Pengaruh Kepatuhan Kerja Terhadap Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja di SPPBE PT Dewinda Sinergi Bumi Kota Lubuklinggau

Abstract

Industrial development in this era has a significant impact on the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH/OHS) management. Employee protection while using equipment is essential for companies to prevent workplace accidents that lead to injuries or fatalities among workers and cause significant material losses for the company. Both business owners and workers must be aware of the importance of compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) standards. However, the implementation of occupational safety and health (OSH) and employee compliance are still not fully optimal. This is evident from the fact that some employees are still inconsistent in following standard operating procedures (SOPs), particularly in using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to prescribed work procedures, and maintaining discipline regarding the safety rules set by the company. This study discusses whether there is an effect of work compliance on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at SPPBE PT Dewinda Sinergi Bumi, Lubuk Linggau City. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work compliance on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at SPPBE PT Dewinda Sinergi Bumi, Lubuk Linggau City. The design of this study uses quantitative research. The population used was all employees at the Lubuklinggau City Fire Department, totaling 62 employees. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the t-test. The results of the study show that there is an effect of work compliance on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at SPPBE PT Dewinda Sinergi Bumi, Lubuk Linggau City, where tcount = 3.090 > ttable = 1.303. This means the hypothesis is accepted.
