Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage, dan likuiditas terhadap kinerja perusahaan pada perusahaan sektor kesehatan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020–2025, dengan mengontrol variabel ukuran perusahaan dan umur perusahaan. Landasan teoretis penelitian ini didasarkan pada signaling theory dan trade-off theory. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi data panel yang diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak Stata 17. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling dan menghasilkan 22 perusahaan dengan total 116 observasi setelah dilakukan trimming terhadap data pencilan (outlier). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian spesifikasi model, Random Effect Model (REM) dipilih sebagai model estimasi dan menggunakan firm-level cluster-robust standard errors untuk memperoleh estimasi yang robust terhadap heteroskedastisitas dan autokorelasi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, yang menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan perusahaan dalam menghasilkan laba melalui pemanfaatan aset dapat meningkatkan apresiasi pasar terhadap perusahaan, sehingga mendukung signaling theory. Sementara itu, leverage dan likuiditas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Variabel kontrol ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan umur perusahaan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel dalam model mampu menjelaskan sebagian variasi kinerja perusahaan, sedangkan sebagian lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor di luar model penelitian. Keandalan hasil penelitian juga diperkuat melalui robustness test dengan menambahkan variabel kontrol pertumbuhan penjualan yang menunjukkan hasil yang konsisten.
