Local economic potential in Karangdowo Village is diverse, but existing businesses and community activities are not always well documented or widely recognized. This community service activity aimed to identify, map, and document the local economic potential in Dukuh Jalin and Dukuh Kwaron, Karangdowo Village, Klaten Regency, and to introduce the identified potential through visual media. The activity was conducted by Community Service Program Group 26271 of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta using a participatory approach through Participatory Rural Appraisal. The implementation consisted of three stages: preparation and potential identification, documentation and visual media development, and evaluation and monitoring. Data were collected through direct observation, simple interviews with business actors, and photo and video documentation. The activity identified several local economic potentials, including rice seed provision, agricultural machinery provision and harvesting services, grain procurement and milling, catering, vegetable cultivation, bicycle trading, and laundry machine manufacturing. The identified potentials were then organized into potential mapping and visual media containing information, photographs, and videos of community activities and products. The activity showed that participatory identification combined with visual documentation can provide a clearer picture of the local economic potential in Karangdowo Village and support efforts to introduce it to a wider community. The resulting media are recommended to be continuously utilized as information and promotional tools for local community businesses.References
