Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengambilan keputusan kepala sekolah di SDN 07 Labuhan Pesisir Selatan, mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis keputusan yang diambil, serta menganalisis hambatan yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut. Pengambilan keputusan merupakan salah satu fungsi kepemimpinan yang paling fundamental dalam manajemen sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi dan wawancara langsung di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah SDN 07 Labuhan menerapkan pola pengambilan keputusan yang sistematis dan partisipatif, melibatkan guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan komite sekolah. Proses pengambilan keputusan mencakup enam tahapan: identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan informasi, perumusan alternatif solusi, evaluasi alternatif, penetapan keputusan final, serta implementasi dan monitoring. Model yang paling relevan dengan praktik di lapangan adalah bounded rationality dan model inkremental. Jenis keputusan yang diambil meliputi keputusan kurikuler, manajerial, anggaran, kesiswaan, dan darurat. Hambatan utama mencakup keterbatasan anggaran, kondisi geografis wilayah pesisir, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, dan rendahnya partisipasi orang tua. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan adaptif dan kolaboratif menjadi kunci efektivitas pengambilan keputusan di sekolah dasar pada wilayah dengan tantangan geografis yang unik.
