Abstract
Mosques serve not only as places of worship but also as centers for education, da'wah, and community empowerment. The increasing complexity of community needs requires mosque management to move beyond administrative functions toward effective, adaptive, and sustainable organizational governance. In practice, many mosques continue to face challenges related to leadership capacity, human resource development, governance transparency, and the limited use of technology in supporting services for congregants. This study aims to analyze leadership strategies for mosque management by integrating the perspectives of Islamic leadership and modern management. The research employs a library research approach through a review of scholarly publications on Islamic leadership, mosque management, and organizational leadership. The findings indicate that effective mosque leadership depends on the ability of leaders to combine Islamic ethical values with contemporary managerial practices. The prophetic principles of shiddiq (truthfulness), amanah (trustworthiness), tabligh (effective communication), and fathanah (competence and wisdom) provide the ethical foundation for decision-making, while transformational leadership, consultative decision-making (shura), human resource development, transparent governance, and digital utilization contribute to strengthening organizational performance. Based on the synthesis of previous studies, this article proposes a conceptual leadership framework that integrates prophetic, transformational, servant, and professional dimensions to support accountable and community-oriented mosque governance.References
