Abstract
Marriage is an act of worship that is highly encouraged in Islam. It serves not only to legitimize the relationship between a man and a woman but also as a means to build a family characterized by harmony, happiness, and abundant blessings. In Islam, the primary objective of marriage is to establish a family grounded in sakinah (tranquility), mawaddah (love), and warahmah (compassion). However, in the modern era, various challenges—such as technological advancements, economic pressures, lifestyle changes, and a lack of communication—often impact marital harmony. Therefore, a sound understanding of the concept of marriage, the rights and obligations of spouses, and the importance of family communication is essential to achieving the true purpose of marriage.References
