ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN WISATA EDUKASI KELUARGA DI KAMPUNG SUSU DINASTY: STUDI KASUS DI DESA SIDEM, KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract

Educational tourism is a popular tourism sector today. Kampung Susu Dinasty is an educational tourism destination that integrates dairy farming with elements of recreation, learning, and hands-on experience. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process, strategies, and impacts of Kampung Susu Dinasty tourism development. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that Kampung Susu Dinasty was initially just a dairy farm that later developed into a tourist destination. The development of Kampung Susu Dinasty was carried out in stages. Tourism development began with high distribution costs and limited marketing reach for dairy products. Strategies used to increase the number of visitors include word-of-mouth promotion, distributing brochures to schools, developing educational and tourism packages, and utilizing social media as a promotional tool. The attractive advantage of Kampung Susu Dinasty is the presence of a dairy farm that provides educational facilities and shares direct experiences for visitors. However, behind this advantage, several obstacles are still experienced, such as limited infrastructure, marketing strategies, and suboptimal community participation. The development of the Dinasty Milk Village has had a positive impact on the community in economic, educational, and environmental aspects, as well as increasing local employment. This aligns with the principles of Community-Based Tourism (CBT). Therefore, the Dinasty Milk Village has the potential to become a model for sustainable, community-based educational tourism.
