This study aims to analyze the development of scientific publications on childcare as an instrument for women's empowerment through a bibliometric approach. The method used is bibliometric analysis with data obtained from the Google Scholar database through Publish or Perish (PoP) software using keywords "childcare", "women empowerment", "women's empowerment", and "pemberdayaan perempuan" for the 2015-2025 period. Data analysis was conducted using VOSviewer to map keyword co-occurrence, author collaboration networks, as well as network and density visualizations. The results show that the keyword "women's economic empowerment" is the most dominant theme, with childcare closely linked to issues of gender equity, women's autonomy, decision-making, and reducing domestic workload. The development of research shows a shift from an initial focus on childcare and child health toward broader studies on women's economic empowerment, public policy, and gender equality. The COVID-19 pandemic has also influenced research direction with increased attention to the care burden borne by women. This study concludes that childcare has evolved into a strategic instrument in women's empowerment, particularly in enhancing economic participation and gender equality, with research development opportunities in aspects of family welfare, childcare policy, and social protection for women workers. References
