Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness, social influence, and environmental concern on purchase intention toward electric vehicles, with attitude as a mediating variable among the Millennial Generation in Jakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach using purposive sampling. Data were collected from 250 respondents who met the research criteria and were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of AMOS. The results show that social influence has a positive effect on both purchase intention and attitude, while perceived usefulness only affects attitude. Meanwhile, perceived usefulness, environmental concern, and attitude do not significantly affect purchase intention, and environmental concern does not affect attitude. Furthermore, attitude fails to mediate the effect of perceived usefulness, social influence, and environmental concern on purchase intention. These findings indicate that social influence is the most decisive factor in increasing the intention to purchase electric vehicles among Millennials in Jakarta.
